No, you don't need a driveway to use PODS services. PODS has services to fit your needs whether you have a driveway or not.
When you don't have a driveway, options depend on your community's regulations and your particular situation. We can easily deliver and place a container on the street near your home if your local municipality, HOA or property manager allows street placement. A permit may be required and your local government, HOA or community can assist with acquiring it.  If street placement isn't an option, PODS City Service may be the ideal way to go. PODS delivers a portable container on a truck to your location. The container remains on the truck while you load or unload it.
Due to government regulations, PODS drivers cannot assist in carrying your items, but if you need help, we'll be happy to connect you with professional packing and loading companies.
PODS City Service includes 4 hours for you to load or unload your container. Should you need extra time, additional charges will apply.
If you are unable to load your container in the 4 hours included and require extra time, additional charges will apply.
No, PODS will look after securing a location for the PODS truck so you are able to load or unload your belongings.
PODS services are available in thousands of locations across the country. The way we deliver your container depends on whether you have a driveway or not. If you're moving from a location with no driveway and we are unable to place a container on the street, if available, we'll deliver via City Service, where the container remains on the truck while you load or unload it. If the location you're moving to has a driveway, your container will be placed on the driveway.
Yes, if you prefer not to pack and/or load yourself, we can connect you with local packing and loading pros to give you a hand.
The container remains on the truck at all times. Our heavy-duty level, hydraulic lift makes loading and unloading easy with no walking up and down a ramp.  The PODS driver will operate the lift for you.
